On Android

The safest way to install apps on an Android phone is through the app store. The App Galley is used on HUAWEI smartphones, and Google Play is most often used on other Android devices.

To search for the application manually, you will need the following:

  1. Open the Google Play app (or App Gallery) on your smartphone. In the search bar, type Telegram and click on the magnifying glass icon (search button).

  2. From the suggested options, select Telegram from the publisher Telegram FZ-LLC. A page opens with a description of the application and a download button.

  3. Click on the "Download" button. The application download process should start.

  4. Wait for the download and installation to finish. After that, the Telegram launch icon will appear on the main screen (or in the main menu of the phone).

On iOS via App Store

  1. Open the App Store, click on the "Search" button. Type Telegram into the search bar and click on the search button.

  2. Select the Telegram application from the publisher "Telegram FZ-LLC" from the list of found applications, it should be the first in the list.

  3. Click on the "Download" button. The phone may ask for confirmation of your identity via FaceID or password. Next, the download and installation of the application will begin.

  4. After installation, the Telegram icon will appear on the home screen.
